" The 2004 Barbera d’Alba Cerreto, from the estate’s home vineyard, is much improved over the 2003 version. With its pretty notes of crushed flowers, spices, jammy red fruits and sweet oak, it is a plump, juicy Barbera to enjoy over the next several years. Although the oak could be a little more measured for this medium-bodied Barbera, it offers excellent length and a clean, fresh finish. It will be a fascinating wine to follow as the vines age.
