| Barratt Wines |
| Recently retired medical practitioner Lindsay and Carolyn Barratt own two vineyards at Summertown: the Uley Vineyard purchased from the late Ian Wilson in August 1990 and the Bonython Vineyard. They have 8.4 hectares of vines, some coming into production, and plan to add sauvignon blanc and merlot to the wine range from 2002. Part of the production from the vineyards is sold to other makers, with Jeffrey Grosset the maker of the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Both wines are complex and of high quality. ***** James Halliday |
